The Association was founded by 26 European language technology industry leaders to join forces in promoting the development of European digital industry and supporting their interests in the conditions of growing global competition. Tilde is the only language technology company from the Baltics — participant of the newly formed association. LT-Innovate includes representatives from such countries as United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Hungary, Germany, Sweden, and others.

Tilde is a member of the Globalization and Localization Association (GALA)

Tilde is a member of the Globalization and Localization Association (GALA) which is the largest global industry organization.  GALA provides resources, education, ideas, and research to enhance the power and performance of the translation and localization sector. GALA offers platforms for gathering the global language community together for sharing knowledge and collaborating. GALA brings together nearly 300 companies from over 50 countries.

 

Tilde is a Member of Translation Automation User Society Association

TAUS is an innovation think tank and platform for industry-shared services, resources and research for the translation sector globally.   TAUS envision translation as a standard feature, a ubiquitous service. Like the Internet, electricity, and water, translation is one of the basic needs of human civilization.   TAUS mission is to increase the size and significance of the translation industry to help the world communicate better.   TAUS support entrepreneurs and principals in the translation industry to share and define new strategies through a comprehensive range of events, publications and knowledge tools.

 

Tilde is a Member of the European Language Resources Association (ELRA)

ELRA’s missions are to promote language resources for the Human Language Technology (HLT) sector, and to evaluate language engineering technologies. ELRA offers a range of services, such as identification and promotion of production of language resources, validation and distribution of language resources, evaluation of systems, products, tools, etc., standardisation. Tilde’s Chairman of the Board is elected at the Board of ELRA.

By joining partnership with SDL, Tilde makes a further step to address terminology needs of translators. Through this partnership Tilde is adding new possibilities to the SDL Trados platform. Integration of EuroTermBank terminology in SDL Trados will result in easier and faster terminology lookup and more accurate use of terminology. Furthermore, Tilde Machine Translation solutions will be integrated in SDL Trados to facilitate everyday work of translation professionals.

Tilde is a Member of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI)

LCCI is a non-governmental, voluntary organisation uniting Latvian companies of different sectors. The aim of the organisation is to create favourable business environment, represent economic interests of Latvia's enterprises and offer business promotion services. LCCI represents business interests through a dialogue with national and local governments and participates in the drafting of commercial legislation in Latvia.

 

Tilde IT is a Member of INFOBALT

Association of IT&T and Office Equipment Companies of Lithuania.  Infobalt was established in 1993 with the objective to make Lithuania the most competitive state in Eastern and Central Europe in IT&T area. There are 112 member companies now.

 

Tilde IT is a Member of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania (LCCL)

LCCL pursue to stimulate business relations between Latvia and Lithuania, represent economical interests of members of the Chamber and form positive image of Latvian business abroad. LCCL was established in 2005. Tilde IT was one of the founders of the LCCL. There are 26 members now. 

 

Tilde Eesti is a Member of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ECCI)

ECCI is the largest business representation organisation in the country. The mission of the Chamber is to develop entrepreneurship in Estonia.
